Yuwa prasart Waithayopathum Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital

Yuwaprasart Waithayopathum Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital under the Patronage of H.R.H. Princess GalyaniVadhana is 150- bed child and adolescent psychiatric hospital. The hospital’s site, with the size of 9 rai 2 ngan 97 sq. wa (15.588 sq.km.), was donated by Senior Doctor, Laung-Waithayesarankul.

Former name is Samrong Hospital, founded in 2506 BE (1963 CE) by Prasit Harinasute, MD. Later, the name, YuwaprasartWaithayopathum, was given from SomdetPhraAriyawongsakatayan (ChuanUtthayi), Supreme Patriarch XVI, and then approved from Ministry of Public Health in 2519 BE (1976 CE). Since 2538 BE (1995 CE), H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana provided support and accepted the hospital under her royal patronage.
